Hi Everyone

Just signed the papers for a DS3 yesterday.

Now this really is a momentous thing for me. I have been driving an automatic Honda Civic CRX (sexy-looking sports car) for 15 years but it really does need replacing. It took me so long as I could not find anything I liked at all - until now.

Saw this dear little car one day and just fell in love. Did all the test drives, checks that things I needed to carry in the car all fitted in at once (you'd be surprised at how many smallish cars you cannot find a guitar into!) and now the wait begins.

It will hopefully be Boticelli Blue with a Black roof with white spots (hence name spottyroof!)

If any of you out there are driving one, please do let me know how it is for you. I must say that driving my 18 yr old car home after the test drive felt like going from a posh hotel to the local YMCA!

Now that is what I call a really sexy car. Is it yours (or is yours like that)
The first DS3 I ever saw was a yellow one - I have been looking for a new car for about five years but just could not find anything to replace my CRX.
I saw one just like yours parked outside Lords Cricket ground and stood there drooling!

Someone at work asked me what colour mine would be and I said ice blue with a black roof with white spots.
They did not believe me!

I am near Watford so the garage I am going to is the Watford one.
Weird place - back bit near carpark is all Peugeots and fron bit near road it Citroens!
How long had you had yours?
Actually when I read the Road Tests etc the two cars they said were similar was the Mini and Fiat 500 - I can understand the comparison with the Mini but not the Fiat 500.

Welcome SpottyRoof! Not sure but I don't think there are many club members with the Spirits on the roof so you may be one of the first!

Just in case your dealer 'forgets' to mention it to you the spots won't be covered by the warranty and make sure that your sales guy tells the valet team NOT to use any de-wax fluid on the roof. That stuff has a habit of loosing the glue.

I was going to get spots! And I was going to get the blue but with a white roof, then white with a blue roof with the tribal patrern, FINALLY settled on white with a black roof - this is where the spots where going to come into play! What engine are you getting, I have the petrol 120vti

There are a few here from Watford and Arlow got his Racing from a garage in Watford, I work there and go up and down the A41 most weekdays, unless I am 'working from home' aka cleaning my car!

I got my Racing from Palmers in Watford, going by your description that is the dealer you are getting your DS3 from. My salesman was Neil Brown, very helpful, and kept me up to date as much as he could on how my order was progressing, also James McCoy who did the handover actually came in on his day off the day my car arrived at the dealers.

Interesting colour combination, can't wait to see it
