I'm getting around 64mpg out of my e-hdi atm and that's a bit of town driving and A roads, i don't really thrash it but i don't drive like a granny either so i am quite chuffed with the mpg.
I was also getting around 57-61mpg in my previous crumpled white edition hdi.

My DS3 is now two months old. This car is the closest I've ever got to the combined cycle - my rule of thumb is simple based on experience of a lot of cars and probably reflects my driving style - I look at the combined cycle and reduce it by 20% and that's pretty close to what I'll realistically get. If I'm happy with that, job done, mpg decision made.

The DSport Plus 150THP has a claimed combined cycle of about 42mpg - I'm getting 36mpg at the moment (real mpg using the methods described above not what the onboard box of tricks says!) - So I'm doing better than my '20% less than combined' figure - happy times! And that's taking full advantage of the 0-60 in a tad over 7 seconds at least twice/three/four (hehe) times a day on a 30 mile trip! The game during that is to see how low I can get the instantaneous mpg and it's down to just a few mpg at that point!!!!

My advice is Relax, enjoy....it will get better as it beds in....

              Regards,
              Clive.
