IM NEW :) Question on my DS3 lead time

Hi,

I ordered my white ds3 dstyle plus mid way through august, and my dealer KEEPS ringing me up saying its being delayed. Does anybody know when i should expect to actually get the car ? As im rather impatient and a rough idea would be great

No, I can't say I do know, and I'm sure your dealer is only giving you the information they know.

I do know the factory was closed during August, so your build may have been postponed until the start of September.

6-8 weeks for a petrol, and up to 12 weeks for a diesel, simples

Yep, same for me, I ordered 13th July, just been told to expect car early November!

Guys a quick note to point out is that the day you bought the car (which I suspect some of you are using) is not the order date, the order date is the actual date the order is submitted to Citroen for factory processing. Your dealer may not be placing orders until at least couple of days to a week later, which all has a bearing on the order process.

The order date is to be found on the Dialog DC18 screen which you can ask your dealer for a copy of.

cheers, but i was going by the date which my dealer said the order was placed. i signed up for the car start of august
i was in france this weekend, and saw a trainload of new ds3's by canne ... was just sat there wishing one was mine ha!
