Morning Guys

Just a quick post to say Hi,

Not got a DS3 as of yet but its on my company car list and I'm looking for something different so its up there on my short list !

I do have a few questions that hope you kind folk my be able to answer.

Having worked in the motor trade and Citroen in my past roles (10 years ago) has the build standard improved on the DS3 range?

I do a fair few miles a year (current car 126k in 30 months) has anyone got experence of a DS3 1.6 HDI with this kind of mileage and if so what if any issues have you had ?

Do not have a lot of miles yet but would say that for its price range I am very satisfied. This is my first Citroen, so can't compare to 10 years ago. My wife always has VW's and I have had BMW's and Merc's so I guess I went "downmarket" but the styling just won me over and I haven't regretted it one bit. Even in expensive cars you find doggy quality stuff. The C32 AMG I had was just a hoopty! So just because somethings expensive doesn't mean its good and just because it's a Citroen doesn't make it bad.

The closest is someone has done 30000miles with only a few probs. I've done 17000 and the car is running fine and looking to extend my 18 month lease. If you have worked for Citroen then you know what the company is like but it is improving at some dealers.

My advice is test drive one and then you will know that both the car and the diesel engine are ace

Been liked it even though it was only the 90bhp DS3 have placed my order with Lex Dsport Plus Diesel 110 Bhp - asked for either Red, Black or White

I have had my THP for about 18 months although only covered about 10000 miles but heavily tuned. The car is faultless apart from a few annoying ratles which I am reluctant to put back to the dealer as it would appear that their diagnostics will wipe my remap! Over to you Bigfeet if you know different. With my 500 this was not the case so I cant fully understand why it appears that a Viezvu map is wiped by a general software update?

VW would always do the same with my Golf do a "Service Software Upgrade"
Which would wipe my remap it's a good job a have the ST3 tuning box

Looks like I will have to wait for a map for the DS3 though
