I'd say whatever the top Michelin tyres are, everyone seems to vouch for them. Are they called Pilot Sport 4 S or something? I dunno, but DS3s come fitted with Michelins rather than Bridgestones from the factory now so the manufacturer obviously approves too.
Also welcome

There's no NEED to put on runflats, but with the lower profile tyres on the Racing, it does help in case you don't notice a slow puncture. It can't use a space saver spare wheel due to the larger brakes at the front, so you'd need a full sized spare or just rely on breakdown cover.
Unfortunately, you might find that it does cost a lot to maintain, but hopefully the performance and looks make it worth it!

Just be careful with the 215 run flats which come on the racing there a nightmare to get off the front I had my wheels ripped off the machine due to trying to take the tyres off so in the end I had to cut them off with a saw in the end so I got 225 bravuris alway around and doing the job well for me well due new ones now tho will be done before trax

Thanks guys, in the end we went for the continental sport contact 2, although i haven't driven the car yet the missus said she is supprised that two new tyres could make the car so much nicer to drive. smoother, quieter and steering is a lot lighter. will update again when i get a chance to drive the DS3. would have gone for michelin but they didnt have any to fit today.
