So just gotta wait for the car to be delivered to the dealer, sign and return the finance paperwork, PDI and it's all mine.

    Can't wait

Exciting times mate- I waited about a month for mine and for the last 2 weeks they gave me a loan car- the pics in my signature- tragic. Was sooooooo nice when I got that magic phone call saying you can collect tomorrow though

Indeed... And I've just been informed that they're actually delivering the car to me, rather than me having to trek up to Derby to collect

So double bonus... though does mean I don't get the 140mile drive back

Just make sure to check the car over thoroughly when it arrives, especially if the driver is physically driving your new car. This happened to mine when it came from Coventry and it has some minor damage to the paint work and needed a good clean.

Yeh, am guna check see if it gets physically driven down, or if it gets put on a low-loader... hopefully the latter...

If it's on a low loader then you will have to pay attention to how it has been loaded, especially the ratchet straps and the front bumper.

Make sure you are given the PDI sheet as well, this proves that the car has been correctly prepared as well as the warranty sheet.

No problem, it's easy in all the excitement to forget these things!

Welcome and I like this new colour in the DSport Plus (wish they had a black roof with it on the DSport Plus, it seems it's only with a White Roof with the Belle-ile Blue. I love my Sport Red one in the same spec.

Personally I'd rather go to Derby to get it (somehow I suspect you got it off 'Steve' as that's who I got mine from). Make a day out of it, check it over at BSMotors premises, then assuming all is well, enjoy your 140 mile drive!

                          Enjoy!

                          Regards,
                          Clive.

                            Clive,

Good shout.. Yeh, tis from Steve at BSMotors in Derby...

Am in 2 minds... As a Train fare to Derby is £30, and then the misses is guna wanna come aswell...

But then I'd quite like to be the first one to properly drive it, and like you say, being able to check it over at the dealers is a bonus...

                            Hmm... Decisions decisions...

I did a 240 mile round trip to pick up WTF. Was great fun!

Was nice to finalise things with my dealer, paperwork, what to do if I have any queries etc, ran through some basics of my new car, got me to sign the feedback form he had kindly filled out on my behalf (top marks all round) and handed my key over.

                              It was a good day.

                                Gav,

What's £30? - Nought when you've bought a new car! Go and get it mate, be the first to drive it (mine had 4 miles on it when I collected, clearly factory 'test' miles)....

Make a day out of it, stop at a lovely pub for a pub lunch on the way home......stare at it whilst you eat in the pub....

Steve's a nice chap too so you can meet him and it will be him showing you round the car (unless he's on holiday as he was when I collected mine!)....

                                Regards,
                                Clive.
