Just had confirmation that the car is ready to collect for tomorrow

Wooh, insurance is sorted now aswell...

Got a really good deal on an Admiral multi-car policy, as means can start both cars insurance on the same day
Also means no cancellation fees on my current Elephant policy as they're a sister company So double win!!!

Right, I'm back from collecting the car, and what can I say... Wow, I'm in love...

Firstly, many thanks again to CliveP for the lift, conversation and an experienced set of eyes on the car. Was really appreciated.

So initial feedback, really enjoyed the drive of the car, plenty of get-up and go in all gears, especially in 4 & 5 for overtaking
Cruise control - how have I managed without this before with all the motorway driving I'm doing... Really easy to use, and guna be invaluable...
Stereo - sounds really good, bluetooth hooked up to phone nice n easily, auto-playing music when switching to Bluetooth source was a really nice touch.
Interior - Leather seats are really comfy, and look great Carbon effect dash looks great, and soft-touch dash should be nice n easy to clean
Color - Looks even better in the flesh... Clive concurred that it should be possible to get a bit more depth out of it with a bit of work aswell, so defo guna do that soon.
Ride - Felt quite firm on some of the bumpier roads, but I'm used to that, so no issues here.
Economy - Even fresh out of the dealer with only 4.8 miles on the clock, by the end of the 148 mile trip the mpg was recorded at 54.2mpg... So even that is fantastic for me... And i'm sure it's only guna get better.

I'm sure I'll come up with some more stuff as I get to know the car a bit better, but am already impressed.

So, onto the good stuff... Have put the pics from today up on Fotki for all to see...

Glad you're loving it - I was impressed with the dealer's prep, no apparent swirl marks....
