Hi there.....

Quick hello to say ill be joining the DS3 world very soon.....we decided to replace our 2yr old Fiesta Zetec-S TDCI with a Dsport 110hdi in a rather unusual colour hickory. Main reason are lots of motorway driving really needs a 6th gear which the Fiesta lacks and really wanted cruise....plus the DS3 looks great. We got a real good price and monthly payments are exactly the same as the Fiesta.....so no brainer really.

I hope I can contribute to the site as much as possible and maybe meet up with some members at some point.

I think Hickory is one of the rarer DS3 colours on here.

Thanx for the welcomes......DS3-r...nice.....would have maybe got one ourselves if our other car wasnt a petrol, but we really needed a diesel and couldnt justify 2 petrols.

Picked it up today......very happy with performance compiared to the Fiesta....

Managed to get a few bulbs changed before it started rainng and off to get a paint protection film fitted tomorrow. A couple of things ive noticed is either im not used to the gearbox or there is some sort of "tweek" needed to the gear selection mech as its not exactly easy to change gear as id hoped.....also the "stop / start" hasnt actaully worked yet.....but I know there are several reasons that may not have happened, including.....low battery power....cabin temp .......



Overall happy so far...

Enjoy, I'd love to detail that colour, but my machine polishing might remove any paint protection system........remember even the 'paint protection' system get swirls in them (I'm not a fan to be honest of these 'systems' to be honest).....but, enjoy the car!
