No it wasn't Gatwick mate it was another dealer, that said though the Gatwick Tates didn't have a THP150 last year as a test vehicle hence why I had to go elsewhere.

The warning I was given did also state that Citroen wouldn't be happy at the lack of recommendation

As I've said before I prefer having less worries with the diesels, cheaper insurance, free road tax and better mpg, fully understand that others prefer different things though

I bet they wouldn't- very brave of the Dealer- could loose their francise
When I asked at my dealer bout the 150s, they said they hadn't had hardly any problems with them. Certainly not engine. (But they would say that wouldn't they)
Had no reason to disbelieve them. This site will not reflect the actual problem levels, by the law of averages
That law dictates a fair amount of owners that have problems will seek a chat site out- ones that didn't have problems wouldn't do so, as they have nothing to check out

But hey ho! the spiral of talking all things THP.....only time will tell. 5 years then we will really know
Enjoy your Oil Chugger LOL (And why not)

Will admit I do the same, I'm honest will folks who fancy the THP and I always suggest they go for the diesel instead...

Well... i'm going to test drive a 110 airdream dstyle plus tomorrow, unfortunately not the dsport/dsport plus but I think their isn't really that much that differs between those two trim levels when looking on the citroen site. If it takes my fancy then I may go for it, if its not the same smile on my face as the thp then I'm going to have to keep on looking .

I'm pretty sure I want a white one, black roof/(or wrapped in a nice bright green) with as many features as far as trim level goes .

              110 Airdream is a DSport. If it's a diesel DStyle Plus then it's a 90.

If you want lots of trim/gadgets etc a DSpprt+ is a great car if you have the budget. Re the diesels, I drove a 90 and it was ok but didn't drive as well as the 110 or 115 as it is now..... See if the dealer can get you a test drive in one of those

                  Good luck

Well guys, test drove the 2012 (61 plate) 90bhp airdream dstyle plus today and I think i'm going to go and put a deposit down tomorrow... the front wheels are both kerbed and need refurbing, the front discs are pretty worn with a rim of about 3-4mm and theres a small dink on the bonnet where paint has flaked off...

If they'll put it all right for me at asking price then I think its the one, free tax and 323 insurance for the year can't be argued with.

In an ideal world it'd be a 110bhp airdream or a thp 155 but they're about 2k out of budget and being honest, the 90hp seemed to have plenty enough torque to get you to legal speeds quick enough .

Perhaps someone can help, the previous owner appeared to have purchased a servicing pack "contract 1" annual service package with an expiry date of 2015... is this transferable once I'm the owner? .

I'm not sure, the dealer should be able to confirm, if not ask Biggie here (posted above) as he's our friendly resident dealer

lol Chris_Blue... you really love that THP eh . I can see why, unfortunately i'm not one for finance... my income is irregular and monthly outgoings are kept to a minimum... I like to own what is mine without any/many strings attached! If my situation was different i'm sure my arm could be twisted to opt for a brand new thp but I was really pleasantly surprised by the 90bhp offering, and if I can manage the quoted mpg figures i'll be smiling.

That cruise control arm was a little confusing but think I got it after reading the manual! Deposit has been placed on the car, they're refurbing the two front kerbed wheels (better do a good job!), sorting a chip/paint flake on the bonnet a friend noticed and may be replacing the front discs . I'll send Biggie another PM, hopefully he won't mind!

Won't be picking up the car till Saturday or maybe even next week depending on how quickly they manage to turn it around and get it looking beautiful for me. Will get some pics up asap though!
