Before I drove the 150 I was torn between the petrol or diesel. I do 50 miles a day, and I know the savings would have been good for me. I'll guess I'll make do ;-)

I found that out by looking in the book......if it had been me I'd have gone for the 110hdi version, you'd save £95 / year in road fund license for starters and reduce fuel consumption by around 40%.

I was concerned that it would be sluggish. I've never owned or driven a diesel, and I couldn't test drive one. I really didn't want to buy something I was unsure of.

It was the 1.6vti and the 110hdi that I was torn between.

The diesels aren't sluggish at all, mine is the 90hdi and top speed is only 6mph slower than yours and standing 1000m is 2.7 sec slower. But I pay £20 for tax disc and you'll be paying £110.
Sometime you ought to try a diesel, shame the dealer didn't have a demonstrator, even trying out a diesel C3 would have given you a good idea about them.
Anyway at least you had the good sense to buy a decent car

Two of the dealers I went to where horrible, and actually got this one from a dealer in Lincoln (I live in Hertfordshire) I was starting to get really put off with being messed around with stories from the other guys, I nearly gave up.

Now I just need to save and but lots of silly things for her! First step is going to be black alloys, so I'll have a hunt through the forums for help on that one.

Again, I got the std wheels as it wasn't my money, I got the side strips and hifi as extras, so didn't want to be too cheeky!

                              Whatever you'd care to share.

I think we have threads here covering most aspects of interest.

Jagermeister & photography?! Not at the same time, all I tend to do at the same time as drinking Jager is shoot BB guns and beer cans on a sofa, at . . . . 7am. Last weekend was good!
