Just ordered a DS3

Glad to see a DS3 Club up and running already

Just ordered a black with white roof and dash insert, leather, in DSport trim with the 150THP and 6 speed box. Cannot wait now for delivery.

Chopping in out C2 Loeb and C2 Code against it.

Thats one hell of a trade in! When are you expecting delivery?

Delivery? If on already made in our spec. and in country, then a week or so.

If not, it'll be April-May. And our two C2s become three years old in May, so that'll work out well.

Had the word this afternoon.

We can pick up the DS3 mid-week, next week (first week of March).

Already selected registration number and done all paperwork. So on the day, just hand over our C2s and some cash and off we go.

Cannot wait and good on our dealer to find a car from stock rather than just putting in a factory order.

Excited now, news and photos and soon as we pick it it.

Spent the day clearing all the junk out of our two C2s and giving them a bit of a clean.

One last blast out this evening in my C2 Loeb then sit around until 3 p.m. tomorrow.

Well, we are back. That was fun

Arrived at dealer and handed over our 2 C2s, did some paperwork for the DS3 and after a cup of coffee and the wife getting a lovely bunch of flowers from the dealer, we were off.

Quick spin through town and then out to show our two sons. Went home, had a coffee, set up the audio system to my liking and got my iPod all hooked up. And then off for a proper drive after filling up with fuel.

We are both in love with the car already. Even not run in, it is already pulling hard. Will be even better I assume after ~6k miles (when all my other Citroens have really loosened up). Smooth power delivery, lovely gearbox and such a comfortable and quiet ride.

And everyone stares at you and I mean everyone. Guess it is the LEDs on the front that does it.

Everything is just right. iPod control through the steering controls works well. The powered sub works well, really good quality sound we think and goes LOUD. Haven't managed to get either of our mobiles paired with the Bluetooth system yet though, search for device works but actual pairing fails for some reason. Will get to the bottom of that.

Had a good look over the car, especially under the bonnet. The intake path is really long, seems to go around the engine bay twice or so. Front mounted intercooler and also has a fan on it. That should prevent heat soak so pulling away after sat in traffic on a hot day should mean little loss of power. Nice touch. Weird lump of plastic hosing post turbo and pre intercooler, maybe some sort of recirculating dump valve, maybe. I'll take a closer look tomorrow. Turbo itself is small, as you would expect.

Really enjoying it and is a lovely place to be. So very happy.

Very nice! i bet it looks even better in the metal! The white dash works really well i think, lifts the interioir really well but doesnt make it look gaudy at all. How did it drive? you happy with it? Whats the black like in the sun? havent seen a black one (dealer had grey and yellow) but ordered one anyway.
Also, nice numberplate!
