New DS3!

Ordered a new DS3 150 DSport last week in black with a red roof and black dashboard, traded in my old BMW on the scrappage scheme, which i now think is an awesome idea!
Dealer isnt sure on delivery yet but they'll know when the orders go through at the end of February, hoping it wont be too long! (not sure how long the BMW will last...)

In the same boat. We are trading in out two C2s against our DS3, so hope it comes soon as I'm sure the wheels are about to fall off my C2 or something. And people keep trying to ram us off the road, I'm sure of it.

Nice colour combination, if we hadn't gone for black with white bits, the red bits would be the next choice. Actually wanted an all white car but not possible it seems.

Its an old 316 compact with 136k on the clock... im hoping it looks as good in the metal as it does on the website! i decided on silver wheels too as i though it looked 'too' black with them on!
Im sure something horrible is going to happen the BMW before i have to hand it in though, the digital clock broke in the cold this morning, i think its a bad omen...

Ooh I've got a soft spot for compacts! I've been dying to see a new E90 compact but doubt it with the 1-series available.

Silver wheels are always a safe bet, and if you did fancy a change theres plenty of aftermarket stuff about!

Got a factory leave date now of 10th of May, anyone who's already got theirs know about how long it takes from leaving the factory to picking up the keys?

factory leave date

ours left the factory 18th march was delivered to dealer on the 10th april rushed dealer to get it on the 14th april but if not pushy with dealer would have been about the 18th so 1 month is about how long from factory to you.Depending I guess how far you are from their english distrobution centre at corby.How this has helped. Also hope they have made things abit quicker.

I picked mine up recently (2 weeks ago) - ordered in Jan.
There was a problem with the alloys (they put the wrong colour on despite it being std option) so I lost another week :mad:.
Dealer was then mentioning wait time of 3 months from order to delivery - but make sure they have the right options - it's easy to make assumptions around the various trims/options, etc.
Love the car now - I had been looking for a new car for abotu 6 months and knew that this was coming early 2010. Test drove all sorts (clio sport, alfa, fiat 500 abarth, ibiza fr, etc, etc) and the DS3 has bags more appeal and build quality. Really pleased I chose this one! Sport red with black roof and wheels - DSport Petrol.

My dealer said that mine leaves the factory on the 6th of may, and due to be delivered to them around the 24th of May. So thats about 2 and a half weeks. Hope there not lying to me. I dont trust them at all.

Cheers for all the info guys (aren't forums good for that sort of thing?!). My dealer said i will definately get it this month and that the slowest part is getting the car out of france and that once it's here it's pretty quick turn around.

Picking it up on friday (21st) finally! its only taken 3 months! (This is of course providing i can persuade my boss to give me the day off at such short notice...)

Collected my baby this am (17th). DStyle 1.6 vti 120bhp.
Thormium grey with carmen roof, wheels, mirrorcovers and City signature inside.
Blown away with the performance, finish and ride. Like a big car!
Will post some pics tomorrow if I can get away from the driving!
