[The Mad Hatter]

Hi all, have been lurking around for a while after purchasing the DS3 but didn't want to post anything until the car looked a bit more like it should. Got the DS3 about 3 weeks ago and it has spent 2 weeks in the bodyshop having some paint correction done and a few subtle mods. Hope you guys like.

Thanks for all the positive comments. As you might have guessed I can't leave anything too standard for long and this one doesn't seem to be any different.

Surname Hatfield always called Hatty or the mad hatter and it was the only plate I could find that was close.

Like the black badges and front - what was wrong with the paint?

The previous owner very obviously hadn't taken care of it and it had had some paint done on the rear quarter that wasn't quite right so had it refinished.

Hi Chris, Everything has been done in paint. All stripped off the car and then reapplied. Its a bit of a pig to get the side strips off but worth it if you are going to paint them. The mirrors are more interesting if you are going to do the bases. There a couple of really long bolts that go all the way through but they dont seem to leave you any length on the wiring when you come to put it back together.

Looks a good job- well done. Just my baguettes to blacken i think, already got black wing mirror covers
