Hello from Australia

Hi all

New DS3 owner from sunny Newcastle, about 2 hours north of Sydney.

Picked up a 2012 DS3 Dsport 155 recently. Wanted to get a smaller car for the gf to learn to drive in.

Previous cars were
2011 VW Golf R
2001 Audi S3
1995 BMW 318is
1994 BMW 318i
so this is is my first non-German car.

Loving it to bits so far. Much more fun than the Golf R, even though it is slower.

Welcome, Interested you like it better than the Golf R which as you rightly admit is faster but less fun. I sort of felt the same way when I test drove an Audi A1, VW Polo GTI and Mini before settling on the DS3. My only problem so far is the carbonisation issue which was cleaned up under warranty so far so good.
