I did think about the THP but the diesel makes more sense as it will be cheaper to run especially as I'm looking for a house too

Hello there and welcome to the mad house. Whether you choose the 110 diesel or the 150 petrol you will not be Disappointed. Oddly enough I went in the opposite directon and dumped my diesel for a petrol car after years of oil burners. As for the mpg, my remapped 150 when cruising in 6th is returning close to 60 mpg based on calculating the mileage from when filled up and the amount of fuel needed to top the tank off again. Ignore the computers figures they are a bit optimistic at best.
