New and nearly new items available!

My wife recently bought a lovely 2011 Sport Plus model in black that very sadly has just been returned to the garage because of engine issues!

In my enthusiasm I had already acquired several parts that unfortunately now need to be passed and include as follows:

- 4No. Aphrodite alloy wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport 3 tyres only one year old. Three of the wheels are in perfect condition and one has slight kerb damage to the outer rim and the tyres are undamaged and hardly worn.
- 1No. set of genuine mud flaps, unused in original box with fitting instructions.
- 1No. set of genuine floor mats with 'DS3' logo hardly used.
- 1No. leather keyring with 'Citroen' and 'DS3' logo, also almost brand new.
- 1No. small model DS3 in black as new with original box.

Please send me a message for further details including prices and if you are interested I can provide further photographs. The wheels were delivered to me in Norfolk from Lancashire at a cost of £50 via Shiply and I will carefully re-pack and assist collection.

Many thanks for your response and interest and I am open to sensible offers on the wheels. Apparently the alloys cost £300 new each and the tyres are around £140. I can also offer free delivery in Norfolk, Suffolk, Lincolnshire and East Yorkshire where I regularly travel through my work.

The other items are all basically new and prices are £58 for the mudflaps, £25 for the mats, £5 for the key ring and £5 for the model, each plus postage.

I think it’s pretty reasonable to ask how much you are expecting someone to pay when selling something. You were the one who I had to ask three times for a price on the wheels.

Regardless, good luck with the sale. I’m sure you’ll find a much better class of buyer on eBay. I hear they’re always relaxed and know exactly what something is worth.

No, it's perfectly fine to advertise via eBay - no reason to limit to only one method of selling. All we ask is that if they do get sold through eBay, the seller notifies the forum which items have been sold (it's in the rules above ). I think I came across a bit sharp as I was in a rush when I posted the link to the rules, but it's a sticky post at the top of the sub-forum anyway so easy to find. At least these listings had a decent explanation of the goods and photos, which is more than can be said for many sale posts here.

Wheels now sold for £540 to a very nice man in Kent - via ebay!! I am also hoping that the buyer may take the mudflaps and mats in the absence of any other offers. Regards, Matthew T.
