  • Selling my newly acquired DS3

    Hello,

As some of you may be aware i recently part exchanged my TT for the DS3. The reasons were simple for me. I work as a field tech and use my own car. The TT was costing me a fortune in petrol, servicing and the like so i traded it for the DS3 Blue diesel thing as it's just unbelievable as how cheap to run this car. Unfortunately today i got some news that i will no longer be covering the UK as i was but will be limited to 2 areas and having a diesel is no longer worth it and decided to go back to a TT (Again).

It has 12 months warranty and assistance/recovery and it is transferable.

Logbook present, and all the history. Needless to say it has full service history and documents will be given.

There are absolutely no faults, rattles or the usual French build issues like many seem to say. Everything works and anyway it has as mentioned 12 months warranty with Citroen.

    Some of the specs:
    • Full leather seats
    • Cruise control and speed limiter
    • Full led and xenon headlights
    • 3d led real lights
    • Bluetooth and wireless streaming
    • 1.6 Blue HDI (i got about 82mpg at 75miles/hr)
    • Folding door mirrors and heated i believe
I am sure i forgot other things.

I am ideally looking for a quick sale this week, offers welcome but please be sensible. Payment only via bank transfer. (Based in Bristol)

It's currently on 52000 miles and will be using until i sell it.

It has stone chips on the bonnet as it is a blue ink version it shows but no dents, dings or anything of the sort. Click image for larger version

Wow sk8funk, that was a short DS3 ownership!! What a shame, but understand your reasons for the change. Have you not thought about a DS3 Performance rather than another TT? Call it Turtle III

Truthfully, i love the look of the DS3 and the drive of it. I did think about the performance but i don't know about reliability. I mean before getting the diesel i wanted a THP but so many bad threads on the net about that engine that it out me off completely.
Having looked at the performance again, i must admit i i am even more interested in it and will be going to a dealer who deals only with DS to have a look at it tomorrow and then will decide between it and the TT as i held off putting a deposit yesterday as i know it will be there tomorrow in case

AFAIK there are no reliability issues with the Performance and all the members who have them, love them. One things for sure, they are alot better than the Racings were!! If you love your current one, wait til you drive a Performance!!! You will forget all about the TT. Kat has one. Any questions, I'm sure she will help.
