Does the vinegar soak get them clean? One of mine from the weekend came out clean but the other didn't (supposedly non staining ones?!) so wondering if that would help.

Also would running a dry microfibre over the body work to get off dust etc be ok? Car is still fairly clean from the weekend big clean but have a layer on it, so wondered about doing that as a midweek thing?

I have certainly noticed a marked improvement in the cloths coming out of the washer cleaner after the white vinegar soak.

Re. the dry MF, I advise not to use a dry one on any part of the bodywork, whether it's applying a QD, a polish or a wax unless it's a plush one to buff off said QD, polish or wax. The ideal kit for dust removal is a QD spray and a folded MF, very lightly pre-misted with the same QD.

See here especially the 5th and 6th picture showing dust removal:

      Hope this helps?

I have got into the habit of doing this - that is saving up the dirty ones to wash in the machine. My theory is that it rinses out the cloths far better than I could however long I hand washed them for after use.
