Oiled up my air freshener with Paco Rabanne 1 Million today, just need to see if it lasts longer now and my eyes don`t start streaming when I turn the fan on! Thanks for the tip though everyone!

Does the air freshener get replaced as part of the dealer service?

Only if you pay £15 for the privilege.

I unpacked mine when I picked up the car, put it in the holder and literally only smelt it for 5mins. After that there was no noticeable smell - there is no way I'd waste my money on a refill....

hold my hands up; ive not read the previous pages of posts...
however, im response to the title:
you can remove the foam finger insert from the cars air freasher, rinse with clean water.
                            squeeze dry.
then dip this into any liquid fragrance for a few mins.
pat dry and replace into the holder.
It lasts about the same amount of time as a new replacement, but at a fraction of the cost.
plus you can have any fragrance you like

I going to have to invest in an air freshener. Got car 2 weeks ago and found that there is no freshener in there so can't soak or spray it. Has lovely new car leather smell at the moment so might try and keep the smell going. With not having an old freshener to go by I'm not sure of what size to buy.
