It's presently wearing a new sealant called 'Abyss' Chris, I am very thrilled with it, lovely deep gloss reflections and superb water behaviour, another one added to my collection of LSPs

Needs proper prep to make the most of it, and it also needs to not be allowed to set - if you go for it, let me know and I'll post up some instructions in my view to get the best out of it.

Yes it is pricey, there's some lower priced Sealants I like... let me see if I can post up some pictures of it at the weekend wearing Abyss so you can see. It's hard though because a camera picture rarely does it justice. Yes, I'd recommend clay bar first, then if you wish a polish, then definitely a wipe down with IPA or 'wax off' type product so the surface is 'clean' (I don't mean normal car clean clean, I mean no product on there) so that the Abyss bonds well with the surface.
Ultraslick sealant is also very good and about a third of the price and easy to apply.
My real favourites are decent waxes but sealants have grown on me, the water behaviour on Abyss is superb, and you can also use it on trim (unusual for a product to be used on both paintwork and trim), I'm seeing what it's like during this week but I'm confident it will remain superb.
I think for those who want me to machine their cars (list is growing, my weekends are getting too busy, lol), I'll be offering Abyss as a choice for their LSP, but I have some wicked (and as it happens more expensive) waxes as alternative choices, but this is up there competing with them.

Clive.

Hi Liam,
Not sure it'll work, but please see post 13 of this thread by me.
I've got some scratches out of some supercars paintwork, but ex feet marks - no wonder she's an ex! If it's bad I might be tempted to try one of my machine polishers, very gently on it! If it doesn't work - new dash.....
