    Think Beefy has hit the nail on the head here, there are different parts for the different gearboxes.

    The part you have may be interfering with the movement of the gear selector. Have you tried putting the original part back in place to see if everything works okay?

      yes and i also drove with it..I wanted the trim from the dsport,i got that on purpose..thought that it would fit beacuse i didnt expect that the gear lever would be in a slight different angle/position!i can reshape the plastic base of the leather to get it there but the gear problem is a big one..Only solution i can think of is change the pivot point and make the gears shorters all round or install a short shifter..third and worse solution is to sand/cut the plastic
      DS3's are like pizza..they're good even when they're bad..

            I really liked the dsport trim the other looks too simple IMO..but what can you do..

            So is anyone interested in a 6speed gearbox chrome trim? :P
