Customer 2 has a diesel and has done 12,500 before the end of year one and he will get his SCHEDULED service on his DS3. The next service will depend on him either reaching 25,000 miles inside year two which would then be another SCHEDULED service or reaching the end of year two without reaching 25,000 miles and would give him a ANNUAL service.

Customer 3 has a petrol and has covered 14,000 miles in year one, he would get the ANNUAL service and in year two he would get the SCHEDULED service when he reached 34,000 miles or by the end of year two.

Customer 4 has a petrol and has covered 20,000 miles in year one so would get the SCHEDULED service, as he long as he doesn't do more than 35,000 miles before the end of year three he will get two ANNUAL services.
Customer 5 has a Citroen DS3 Racing that requires a full service every year... and has a nice plastic service card saying the first 3 years will be £199 :-)

Than could be seen as a neat wrinkle... (hi Zack)

BTW this post may suddenly disappear...

BTW why can I only edit posts for 2 minutes after posting?

      I was going to change:
and has a nice plastic service card saying the first 3 years will be £199 :-)
      to:
and has a nice £199 plastic service card saying the first 3 years will be free :-)

      Perhaps time to go away...

So there's no 20k mileage interval on the Racing?

In which case £199 for 3 full services looks like a cracking deal.

Bit of an older thread but seeing as my dealer has said the £199 service offer isn't available anymore I'm just trying to decide if the £499 cost of the plan on the e-hdi dstyle plus is worthwhile, i only do around 8000 miles a year at the mo.

No it wouldn't at that rate you would likely only get the first service paid for.
My mileage was fairly low for first year at 12k, last week they charged £115 to CUK for first service but I will easily get to the second service which is a few more bits covered. I don't believe their visual inspection of only 40% discs left lol.

Ta ^^...... that's decided then..no service plan this time around
I'm being refunded the £199 from the plan i had with the crumpled white edition so I'll put that away and add some to it so at least I'll have a service fund of some sort lol

                  Thread revival!!!
Thought i would ask here rather then start a new thread.
I got my approved used ds3 over a month ago and went to my local citroen dealer for a quote for a service plan.
Its a thp and done 12k miles, registered feb 11
This is what they came up with...

it covers 2 routine services(20k and 40k), no mention of annual service
Im no expert but it seems quite steep to me, what do you guys think?

£626 for two 20k services? LOL

I paid under £200 for my first 20k service. I expect to pay circa £250 for the second service - £300 tops.

And are you sure you'll still be driving it at 40k miles?

Wow....talk about confusing these service deals? Have they been designed by a French man? (what do you mean the DS3 is French! Nooooo it can't be true!).....

My DS3 is due it's first annual service on the 14th July, literally it's first birthday (time for a change maybe!).....at which point it will have covered about 13000 miles....

So on Biggie's example that's it until 34,000 miles (or one more year? say at 26,000 miles) (-if I keep it that long....)

When I booked it in for the service I said to the very friendly service booking lady (sounded like she was way 'up North'!) 'so do I book it in when it's done 20,000 miles as it's just the annual check-up?' and she said yes (I have the 3 year plan for £199 I just chucked it in the deal I negotiated on the price I paid).......

So that's my plan, book it in at 20,000 for a 'full' service - I reckon there's so much confusion no one will know and they'll jsut service it then too!!!!

Biggie, please help if I've gone mad (or am speaking a lot of French!)....

                      Regards,
                      Clive.

Clive book yourself in as the service plan covers you an annual service, scheduled service and the brake fluid change.

Keeping it for 4 years probably, doubt it will have 40k miles though!
I did think it was expensive lol

Biggy is this normal for this kind of plan?

Thanks Bigfeet - will do, so I'll get the annual check on the 14th July and then another at 20,000 miles

Thanks for all your help as usual !
