Should I pay?

Handed my car back 3 months early due to excess mileage, paid 3 months payments, £750, and going to pay excess mileage, £600.
They say I need to pay service charge of £200, as it needs 5 service stamps having covered 65100 miles at 12500 service intervals. I have only had 4.
1st one 13210 miles
2nd one 26595
3rd 39895
4th 53195

My point was i'd only covered 11900 miles since last service, so not due yet

I know i was running a bit late with my services, but, as I understand, within the tolerances of 1000 miles per service

This was a 2 year contract hire agreement.

Car was in grade 1 condition, not a mark on it.

You good people can be my Jury, what do you think?

Have you contacted Citroen yet? I have just handed back a ds4 where I had missed the first service by 5 weeks so was being charged the £200 charge. Phoned Citroen and the charge was waived I think considering that you are paying all other charges they might be lenient with you.

This is going to be a judgement call as you are technically within the tolerance for the next service, my guess is the service reminder has been flashing!

Give them a call and see if Citroen are willing to cut you some slack, I wouldn't hold my breath though...!

Yes i contacted them, didn't get anywhere, lady kept saying needs 5 stamps, I mentioned tolerances etc, no joy, charge stands.

I guess you had the right amount of stamps at the end?

From your first service you were out of order and all the way through your deal you carried on taking the P then you hand the car back 3 months early with 100 mile to go to your next service and you think your getting screwed over by the dealer ....Ok you paid the out standing bits but big deal.....Im sorry if I was your dealer my words would be tuff get your cheque book out and have a nice day.....PS how much is a service for a car that's done 65000 miles ....I bets its more then £200 if I were you pay it a do one before they start picking up even more things that's wrong with the car...
