I'm sure they'll do owt they can to nullify the warranty, but not much choice for me seens as I was in Romford and live in Rotherham, and sounds like the car is going to be in the garage a while so not got much choice.

Is that right though, they'll 've able to tell mileage via the ecu code ?

Surely I've covered myself by booking it in as soon as it happened , and then having to drive home ?

Up until Chris' recently went pop I hadn't heard of any 155's having similar issues.

The issue with the Citroen THP engine is mainly the carbonisation of the inlet valves- it will happen to all Turbo High Pressure engines (THP) whatever the car it is in
The High pressure fuel pumps have gone on other THPs and 155s

And the ECU going- I'm the only one I know that has had it replaced, that I can recall.
Then again, a Tuner on here told me they were probably guessing and after dealing with the inlet valves, the ECU was the next thing to replace. In fact when they replaced the ECU, it didn't solve the high range power problem- that's when they did the HPFP

Other owners have had Turbo's replaced, temperature sensors, even pistons breaking

The inlet valves is the only thing that affects all THPengines- the rest was down to bad luck
Don't think they've sussed all the ramifications to the carbonisation of inlet valves, and what else can be affected by it

To clarify- My engine is fine... it was the ECU and the HPFP
