If you had bought my car, it would have said Citroën was the previous owner not a driving school, would you return my car too?

Buying a car that someone would have looked after because their livelihood depended on it, or buying one that someone has just done 'whatever' because they were handing it back after 2/3 years anyway.... Just a different perspective for you.

With your exacting standards for who a used car was previously owned by a new one would be a good bet to satisfy your unbound fear. After all it is the only way to be sure it was not abused. But wait the guy who drove it off the assembly line or loaded it on the boat could have done something unspeakably terrible to it. So best build you own car at home. That way you are absolutely sure. Have fun

My instructor, who had control of the car - wouldn't let me rag the car around on lessons.

It's not the way people are taught to drive as far as I know..... Plus, that car was her business.

Learner drivers aren't just popped in the driving seat and set free on British roads. Thrashing about country lanes in first gear smashing the crap out of the clutch and gear box because for some reason it won't go into second.

Loved learning about J turns and how to burn off the line at traffic lights.

Seriously, any hint of doing it wrong and I was corrected. Instructor with pedals, then how and why I was getting it wrong then repeating with instruction until I was right.

Your DS3 has been cared for. It's been someone's business to source of income.

              Did you test drive it?
Did you take a long look at it both inside and out to see any defects?
Did you ask the Dealer about it's history?
I guess that I might be one of the people 'who doesn't know what they are talking about' since you didn't reply to my questions, but I hope you are satisfied with your next car.
