I don't qualify for free servicing.... and i had my fingers crossed when i made that call!
However, have checked out Halfords for a service, and its rocking in at £165, which is £170 cheaper than i was quoted at Citroen - and it wouldn't affect the warranty.
Has anyone had an experience of Halfords for a service?

I'm going to get an independent guy I know to do my next service as I've had the two free ones that Citroen provide with the new car. He'll use OEM parts and will be a fraction of the costs being quoted on here....
I wonder if the handbook (cyclone might know lol) details what needs doing at each service ?sigpic

I use a main dealer for routine servicing, and ignore the bolt ons (or bolt ups) but sad old git that I am,I buy discs and pads (every main dealers' favourite item - all franchises) as sometimes they can be bought at good discounts and keep them until required, then get them fitted independantly. Same when the cam belt is due. Do the same with tyres, because sod's law dictates that they will need replacing when some other horrendous bill arrives, or at Christmas etc. Works for me because I cover lotsa miles.
I took a 3 series BMW to the local main dealer a while back for a service. The receptionist put the key into a reader and told me it wanted rear pads! I' d already had a set before it went inLast edited by Old Bloke; 11-05-2015, 11:15.

I just phoned my Citroen garage in Newport where I bought my 13 plate last week and they asked me for the chassis number off the front window and said yes I qualify for the 3 years free service!! They tried to sell me a service plan last week paying monthly as it would be cheaper even though they must have known the car qualified for one more free service!!!

Check this link info.citroen.co.uk/servicing-offer/ you can get a full service for £195.00, it's a Citroen deal so all franchised dealers must adhere to it, there's a full service & MOT for £229.00 that's what I paid this year.hope this helps.
