I'd be in that category too mate, hence the new pads (and supposedly discs) needed now

I don't know if it is because I have a newer DSport than yours but I have never in two years of driving had any handling issues with my car because of the tyres! So sorry to disagree but I don't think the Potenzas are awful but I have taken advice and will be buying the Pilots which I expect to do a similar bit slightly improved job.
I'm pretty sure I made a post on here about how I felt the C2 handled a lot better than the DS3 when I first got it four years ago and I thought I'd made a huge mistake by buying one.

I've only used a few tyres (Yokohama A539, Pilot PE2, Toyo T1S, Potenzas, Toyo T1R) but the Potenzas are by far the worst I've had. I'm talking about grip in the dry and wet. Like I said, I felt a huge improvement when I had the Toyos fitted.

I've had the Toyos on since July 2013 and there's still plenty tread left but I only do about 9000 miles a year now.

New poster on the forum. I've always run my Citroens on Michelins including AX GT Saxo VTR, (anyone remember those?) C2 VTS and C3's and always had good wear and roadholding, bit pricey, but always pleased. Do change in the winter to Nokians on 16 inch Blade alloys and they're good for the season.
