How is it that the DS3 has become so popular in Great Britain?

For me the DS3 has always been an Iconic little car, but then Citroen have a great history of small cars, 2CV, Dyane, Ami, Visa, Saxo, C1, C2 and Okay there have been some not so good too like the LNA, but in general Citroen do really well with small cars. They had amazing success with the Saxo.

The DS3 to me is different, because it's not same as the other in the DS range, mind neither are the Ds4 or DS5, they each have a separate personna, The don't all look the same, as in BMW's case.......

When you look at a DS3, it's different to the other side of the car, for example, you have the 'sharks fin' on one side but not on the other....... who else but Citroen would do that?

Thankīs for response, keep it coming.
I used to work next to a Citroen dealer and had been looking at DS3 fo a while, then i test drove one and felt for it instantly.
In fact i tested two, one petrol and one diesel and in the diesel i was at home for ever, still love it.
(well itīs my second one but thatīs another story)

The Scirocco is tempting me as well, I also like the Megane GT.

DS3's are a bit rare in Australia, too. According to a newspaper review of the 2015 models just released here, 134 DS3's were sold in Australia in 2014!!

For the money they are now asking for the same spec I would go elsewhere.
Ģ16800 OTR for mine and the only thing it's missing is satnav. Over Ģ20k for a DSport now is a bit over the top.
