Am I reading things wrong or do all new DS3's come with drum brakes on the back now?

Even the THPs ? I'd be surprised, my eHDi has discs all round so I'd be surprised if that was changed for the later models.sigpic -

As far as Ican see all models will have drums at the back....big mistake from Citroen as I will not buy another with drums

Looking on the configurator, the pictures are discs but in the spec sheet is says rear drums. My guess would be they've not updated the specs page correctly. Seems pretty stupid to change them when they've increased the bhp on newer models.Originally posted by Gazski66 View PostComment

Mine seems to stop pretty well on front disks and rear drums.
Is there that much of a difference as I would have thought most of the "stopping" was on the front anyway?
In my biking days the rear brakes were only ever used in "oh shit" moments

DSign, DStyle = Drums
DSport, Ultra = Discs all round.
I wouldn't worry about drum brakes because in reality when you brake around 70% of the work is being done by the front brakes anyway.Bigfeet's File Repository...I should never have doubted the Lord of Bacon!!
