Ian, sorry you not got yours already, that must be a rock and hard post situation. Hope that you get your situation sorted out to the best you want.

I have again not had any update today from the dealers, and hope that all dealers are following the same set of rules..

I would be well fed up if one dealer issues the cheque, lets the graphics stay on the car a removes them if they become damaged etc etc.

Yet another says they will issue the cheque when they are taken off, or they don't offer a consistent approach.

Like I said earlier, my vinyl is fitted well, gone through multiple washes and thus far survived the weekly park n dinks on Waitrose and Morrisons. If it gets through the frost, snow and winter then hopefully it will stay on until it goes back.

As soon as I have an update or resolution path I will post what they are doing on ours.

That would be my preferred option... If possible may we ask who your dealer is, no problem if you don't wish to share.

My situation is obviously different from those who have their cars already - the dealer won't let me have the car with the decal attached.

I've opted to accept it without, along with a £1,000 discount, three years' free servicing and a hotel voucher. The discount has been applied to my monthly payments so I'm saving quite a bit given that I was also paying for servicing. Overall, I'm happy - ands as a Facebook friend of mine says "...a thousand pounds in the bank and you don't have to look like a dick in a decaled car! Happy days." Different strokes for different folks!
Non-Dark Non-Light (i.e. a black car but with the DL trim), arrived 30 November 2015

Not trying to be nosey, as my car is with Citroën finance, had you already signed the finance docs and they re-issued new ones with the discount applied?
I have signed agreement and already made two payments, just wondered if they were going to re-issue finance or send a cheque, looks like another phone call.. :-)

I'm just signing them as we speak, so they reflect the discount. I imagine you will just get a £1k cheque - would seem easier than re-issuing all the paperwork etc.

Enjoy your car, I am more than happy with the Dark/Light spec. You don't see the graphics inside. Drive is very good and gearbox good and it proves out economical for us.
Took me ages to work out the logic behind the music system and the juke box thing, but managed to get the mp3's loaded and stored.

Update. Just Rang my local Dealer.. In Lichfield, these guys were very professional and very helpful.. The guy didn't know anything about the Dark Light Graphics Removal etc etc, but that's not the dealers fault or that individuals fault, its all about communication.
He took all my details, registered me on there system explained without out any rubbish talk the positions then clearly said what he was going to do, find out everything, see what the options are, then he or his service manager would give me a call back.
                  So Still waiting....

They seem to have it dialled on the roof decals/wraps... what went wrong with the Dark Light?? haha
Mmm maybe not - I've seen a couple of racings (one at a show) with peeling roof graphics, not a little peeling but a lot !

The dealer's have asked me to Scan the letter from Citroën and email it to them. So they can see how to proceed.
Will scan this in now and email over.

To be fair DS only issued details to the dealers on the procedures for non-delivered cars and those currently unsold, no provision were given for those customer wishing to keep the vinyl which explains some of the confusion amongst the network.
