Hi All,


I'm looking to become an owner of a DS3 THP and was just wondering what people are paying per month?

An offer on one of the Citroen websites says £270p/m with 600 deposit for 36months @ 10k miles per year?

(this is for the diesel but I'm sure they can be persuaded to do the Petrol seeing as its the same OTR price)

Does this sound about right?

It's not a cheeky question, some people will state how much as they have no issues talking about money where as the others would rather not, as it is slightly confidential. Don't get me wrong....there is no harm in asking what you have asked

I think the question is, are you going to be leasing the car or buying it all out?

The @10K miles per year makes this sound like a lease?

Usually the prices they quote are ex VAT so be careful in that dept.

The deal I saw was (ex VAT) £167 for a DS3 White/Black 1.6HDi or £177 for a 1.6VTi. 10K mileage per year.

I signed up for a 2 yr lease on a DS3 White HDi, bumped the mileage up to 15K, and it came to £209 per month inc VAT.

Tax is included but insurance/servicing is not of course.

These rentals are based on 3+35, 10,000 miles per contract year

I think that equates to £270 p/m £810 deposit (not £610 as I said at first)

That's not my local garage but its near enough, and it's not the Petrol version I want, but hopefully my local garage can beat that price on the Petrol version.

That price looks like to relates to Contract Hire which Citroen will only do for business users.

We run with PCP (Elect3) and have a 110 HDI DSport, 3 year with 2K down and 12k miles worked out at 195 per month.

Be careful about the Elect4 quotes (personal Lease) as by law the dealer doesn't have to show deposit figures.

A thought to bear in mind is all Citroen Dealers quote finance from the same system.

I have the THP! Put down 3500 and in still paying £300 a month but I don't care I love this car

That seems very reasonable! I'd probably only need 10k miles, hopefully with a lower deposit the monthly payments won't go up too much! Am I right in thinking the HDI Dsport is the same OTR price as the Petrol THP? £16500?

I've been browsing the Googles and have come across a few dealers showing finance examples This One is saying a DSport on Elect3, a £500 deposit and 6000mi per year over 36months would be £267.

If I play the dealers off against each other I should be able to get better than that!

Yes dead right and they are not very clear when it comes to describing this using phrases like "6 months up front" as if you then get 5 months without paying.
