I think they where redesigning something. making an alteration to them. I'll get in touch with them and see if we can get a discount offer. They tend to do this as a one off rather than a continuous offer.

There are also places that will fit them for you.
Water retention behind the clips that hold them on, also heard of a few horror stories of them destroying wheel arches if they come lose, being made of hard plastic if they spin around loose they will just destroy them, driving instructor i had fitted them and he replaced with rimblades because if they come off they just flop off.
Rimblades are much easier to fit.

I've been doing some Googling and only found posts so far of people saying they have heard stories about them coming off - not direct it happened to me posts.

I did find Tyre rim roll-off tests with alloy wheel protectors at MIRA.

        https://www.alloygator.com/images/miraOff.pdf

Seems to be a few combination's that will might interfere with the durability of the product, poorly fitted is the main one.

Depends what you are going for.

Rim blades are more about aesthetics rather than protection, and for this they are much more cost effective and easier to fit.

Also found Rim Bands, they look good but are not a DIY product so need to be fitted:

I'll see what I can do with a club discount at Rim Blades though

There is also Rim Ringz, but they don't look very good imo

I saw some on a car this morning with a couple of scuffs .
And it looked like they had protected the wheels fine .The only thing is the alloy gates looked bad so expensive to replace once they are damaged.

you can buy a little tool for them which is like a shaped blade and it will take of a layer and re shape them to look new again

Id be interested if you can get a discount at Rimblades i need a set for mine. Rimringz are similar to the alloygators in terms of fitting but they fit specific rim sizes they don't need to be cut down but its the same sort of clip system. Which seemed to be the problem with water retention behind the gator causing damaged alloys :/
