Auto wipers

    You can try that if the wipers are rubbish, but on mine the glass above the sensor is cleaned by the wiper blades, if yours is showing these symptoms I doubt it's the wipers and more likely to be the sensor has developed a fault.

    Agreed you should start with the easy stuff first though

      Find any one with a diagnostics kit and thy should be able to tell you if any sensors are faulty

        In the past if after the wipers have swept there's been a haze on the window that's when I've had issues. Fairly sure it takes a before and after reading on the sensor to see if it should sweep again and if it's not being cleared properly it doesn't get proper readings and behaves oddly.

        If the wipers are good quality it's probably not that.

        Since day 1 apart from the odd time where it decides to work ours has never done anything except intermittent even in full storm conditions. The odd day it'll decide to work and maybe it'll do 4 sweeps in a row but usually no..
