Just curious about what other people have been getting?

I've been struggling to get above 32 around town and 40ish on the motorway.

Think it's mean to get around 60?

I don't think it's my driving style because in my 90hdi I could easy get 50+ mpg

Calculated by the on-board computer or have you done the math yourself?

How many miles on the engine so far?

      Configurator says:

      - Urban cycle mpg : 53.3
      - Extra Urban mpg : 74.3
      - Combined mpg : 65

Your numbers are low though :S

        This is on board.

I'm getting about 280 miles to a full tank.

And only 800 miles so far. Might be worth nipping in to Citroen

I know the diesel mpg improved as the engine aged, not sure if that applies here though.

I'm currently averaging 54mpg (60ish mpg on motorways) but the official figures are much higher, as we know they're always a bit hard to attain due to the required testing conditions that the manufacturer is required to go through.

A relative of mine has one and is getting 51MPG as a combined after 3000 miles.
They seem to be very susceptible to driving style. As with many of these small engines with turbos, when your on boost they drink fuel.
My old Seat Ibiza TSi was the same. Seat claim 60MPG on a combined, I was lucky to get 50 on a run and 35+ in town, all depends how heavy footed you are!

Mmm you may have a point there, when I waiting for my new DS3 I was given a Fiesta 1.0 (I think) ecoboost by the insurance company. It was supposed to have the same mpg as my diesel 1.6 DS3 - yeah right. It was bloody slow and if I tried to get anything like the performance of the DS3 out of it the mpg fell through the floor.

With the DS3 I can drive to Liverpool and back on a tank easily approx £60 in fuel. The Fiesta cost over £90 for the same trip

Might be also my trips are always short as well, 2 miles to work. 2 miles to the gym and then 2 miles home and each time the engine is cold?

Might give driving it like an old biddy ago.

Let the engine bed in if it's new. Tbh though, stated figures are always wrong.

My THP rarely gets above 30mpg, I'm sure the website says it gets 50

                        I have a solution.

Keep the car for long drives. Save going to the gym by running from home to work and back. ???. Profit.

Yeah, standard 165. Last tank got 30.33mpg calculated (17.8l / 119 miles) Town driving, using start stop, not revving high.
