See Bigfeets reply below. It covers everything you need to know Welcome to the club btw.

If the dashboard is flashing then the system is working fine!

There are over 20 variables for the DS3 which determine whether or not the system kicks in, outside temperature, brake pressure, voltage load, etc.

During the winter months I doubt you would see the system go fully into stop mode that often so I really won't worry about it.

Just to piggyback on this and after reading the manual etc, my Ds3 flashes economic mode but doesn't do anything.

It's a pretty poor system, every other car I've had has no issues going into stop start mode. I've taken it out on long runs etc and still nothing.

Those of you who are not seeing the system going into stop mode can I confirm that you are in neutral with your foot off the clutch.

Had a customer the other day screaming and shouting and guess what, yep he had his foot on the pedals.

Also to those who reckon that they have not seen any "Eco Action" for a while go and have your master battery checked, one of the variables is the charge level in the battery. If it is too low then your system will not fire.

As is the same in every car, yes foot off pedals and in neutral.

I'll give it a bit longer before taking it in.

                  Hi

i have a 2015 ds3 Dstyle navtech it was running and cut out and now it won’t even turn over just ignition lights. Saying it’s in eco mode so no elec windows will work. Been told because I changed the battery it needs to be re mapped to get it running again any info would be very much appreciated. Haven’t owned it long an it seems a temperamental little car
                  thanks in advance

Have you put the correct size battery in?
If a battery is low in power, or not the correct power, the stop start and other systems done work/ don't work properly

At the moment my battery is low(ish) so stop/start doesn't work- Yipeee cos I hate it

Hi everyone - so, 2017 DS DS3 Cabrio 1.2 Turbo Automatic. Start Stop has not kicked in since before Christmas. I Don’t do many miles during the week but do hundreds at the weekends.
I have been in for a service and they have explained the required parameters have not been met and that I need to charge the battery, then leave it for 4 hours for the system to reset and see if it works. I have had the battery on charge all day and it shows that it is now full on the charger dispalay so I have unplugged it and took her for a run to warm her up, still no S/S but will try again tomorrow.
I wonder, I have an air con service and summer check next week, do I carry on telling the dealer that it’s still not working again like every previous visit since it’s first service, incase there is a battery or system fault, or just get over it and continue to pollute the planet which is obviously not on DS’ mind when setting the required parameters for this eco feature to have any impact!!!
