The quote is in from my local body shop!

He's quoted £450, he ran his hand down the side and said there were a few dents id not picked up on. He didnt seem to think it was a big job, said a lot of the scratches would come out in prep and the rest would just need a bit of filler.

2 days to do the work so should all be done by Fri

Yep, could be worse though, £450 is a lot of money but small price to pay to put it right and not claim on the insurance!

Glad it's being sorted out. It's crap you are having to fork out £450 through no fault of your own. That parking on your other thread is, quite frankly, disgraceful. I hope something gets sorted about that and soon. I'd be bloody fuming!! :mad:

Yea, its residents that are too lazy to use the free car park at the end of the road! Ive been up and down the street and havent noticed anyone with any red paint or damage to their car.

We've got a Jacob's factory at the top of our street so it could be one of them, ive seen them trying to park!

My 2016 DS3 not even 4 months old, rear end had been hit and smashed all rear drivers side light... no camera footage so can't really had a straight forward claim, gutted quoted £500 for it to be done.... I've cleaned up the bump and glued most of the light together can't really tell anymore that it happened, #GUTTED!
