    Rx8's were never known for fuel consumption. Or oil consumption.
    I only get good consumption and brake pad wear not only because I am old and boring but don't use the car in town.
    On cars that stand or do short journeys the discs go rusty. As indeed am I!

          If you'd previously owned the RX8 referred to earlier in this thread, with it's near-on single-figure MPG, then a wet dream is exactly what you'd have when you discovered your MPG was 4 times as good!??!

            I used to get 30mpg on average from the 1.6 THP. Now I have a 3.0 litre straight 6 engined car and get 30mpg.

            Don't think the DS3 was for me, looking at that!
