I know you don't want it to be this, but it seriously could be the timing chain. If not improving get it looked (same symptoms and in the end only changing this sorted it and it was really stretched)DS3 THP 155 - stage 2+ remap, milltek sports cat and non resonated exhaust system, airtec FM intercooler and alloy boost pipes, induction kit. Mtech short shifter, VAG recirculation valve with uprated alta spring, uprated hpfp, uprated spark plugs, uprated coil pack, VTA twin pcv to filtered catch can, uprated Sachs clutch, ebc brake pads and vented discs, LED interior lighting, rcz gearknob, Michelin pilot sport 4s, iridium spark plugs

Can anyone help, changed spark plugs and coil packs now, both times it fixed the problem for a couple of weeks each before the light comes back on again, pressures are all okay apparently so he doesn't think it's the fuel pump but think it's the injector on cylinder one?
Can anyone shed some light on this? It's going to be another few hundred pounds and he's not 100% sure it'll fix it!

You have misfire across all 4 cylinders with those faults so fitting an injector in cylinder 1 will not fix it....
Fuel pump would be my first assumption.White on red THP
Miltek exhaust with HKS highflow cat, Forge intercooler, hard pipe kit, induction kit, oil catch tank, , VAG BOV, Stage 3 SPT remap 217 BHP

They are hard engines to work on if you don't really know them. All my knowledge came from trail and error and this forum. But difficult to diagnose if we can't touch the car.
As Jamie said, could be the high pressure fuel pump. And because the error codes are pilling up and it now beeing not one cilinder anymore it probably a more general problem (eg hpfp).

I've got similar issues with my 62 REG 1.6vti 120. Judder/lack of power around 1,500 revs, especially from cold. Engine fault light coming on after particularly bad judders before disappearing a few days later. Currently in dealership for the 2nd time after not been fixed first time.
I've not seen reference to this problem on the 1.6vti so wondered where I could point the dealership towards looking? They've mentioned swapping coil packs so far but not replacing them. Reckon they had improvement after swapping. I'm at a loss as the car is fine if I stay higher than 2,000 revs but it's a problem I want sorting before warranty runs out. Any ideas?

Could be injectors blocked, could be coil pack as mentioned, could also be temperature sensor if it happens more when cold. How does the needle behave? Mine died and thought the engine was half warmed when it was about 7 degrees outside and really struggled to start as the ECU thought less fuel was needed than was the case. When it finally did start, it was VERY rough, revs jumping and stuttering, then cutting out unless I kept it over 3000 RPM until it had actually warmed up to the point it thought it was.
