well looks like im getting shafted on the Insurance price as wellPick up the car on Tuesday best quote I have had so far is Admiral. 90HDI D-style £833. 30 yrs old, 7 yrs NCB protected. £300 voluntary excess.
Our 2.2 EX Civic was only £600 for the year.

I suspect that the cost is hiked up by any number of factors, area where he lives, where the car is parked overnight, his job description, other drivers (or lack of) and finally what the use of the car will be and the mileage.
