Funny that, in the reviews they said the car was well put together.

It's definitely a rattle from the dash on mine as i have tried wedging a small piece of card between the white fascia and the top piece and the rattle disappears........but not for long and then occurs elsewhere lol. My previous swift sport with stiffer suspension had less rattles than this car ^^...tbh i like the drive and the mpg but i am beginning to wish i'd stayed with the swift sport :/

In general it is, probably the best put together interior I've had in a car in a long time, and some costing almost twice as much as the DS3R!

I do get a rattle from the dash but it quickly quietens down once the car heats up. I have the most irritiating noise coming from either the drivers set / seatbelt mount which I cannot track down. Considering I am about to fit coilovers and lower the suspension I think I better track these irritations down. It's eithere that or a louder sound system :-)

I'm hearing that noise aswell, the one near my ear which seems to be the seat belt mount but wherever I place my hand it wont disappear! With stiffer suspension these cars aint really suited to our British roads. They are rarely smooth they are generally rutted, potholed and uneven. Motorways are they only roads where the car can truly settle down without hearing the infernal rattles, buzzes and creaks!

We've got a dashboard squeak, sounds like it's coming from the carbon effect area around the middle vents.

Yep. That's the one Dave. If you give it a smack it stops for about 2 minutes lol

This sounds like exactly the same dash rattle/buzz/squeaking that I have had since new, which is different to the info rapid rattle. A very annoying noise from around the central vents. I have tried several wedges too in various sections between the coloured section and the top dash, which can help but don't solve the problem. I have a feeling its related to the base of the pod visor where the front left (looking out) leg enters the top piece of the dash, could be wrong though. Anyway, if anyone has a fix.....

My DS3 White had a very anoying buzz which the garage could find, sounded like it was coming from the glovebox, eventually I tracked it down to the roof lining, managed to feed a bit of sponge between the roof and the lining by pulling the trim down by the windscreen and seems to have stopped it = not what I expect to have to do to a new car!

So let me conclude, the DS3 is squeaky, rattly, noisy and a good candidate for driving you to road rage possibly resulting in you doing bird for 9 years
Would I by this car knowing the noise problem...No I wouldn’t, man I hate annoying car noises.

                          Get a grip!

Mine has fewer squeaks & rattles at 17k miles than just about anything else I've owned, including sundry Audis, VWs & Volvos.

Well 1 month and 2000 miles later and yes its rattling, prob like all the rest of you! It seems to rattle on and off and cant seem to place it, but sounds like its near the glove box area? Anyway, after the last 4 cars being new Vw's and Toyota's the french build quality is simply lacking. I have been lucky enough to have a new car every year to 18 months and cannot remember the last time a car rattled so much from new! I just hope it doesnt spoil my enjoyment?
In summary, love the look of the outside, love the look and feel of the inside, but I think build quality is still an issue

Mine still rattles intermittently and i have noticed badly fitting carpet on the passenger footwell plus scratches on the underside of the speed binnacle lens amongst other minor faults. Build quality is obviously still an issue for Citroen but it has improved compared to some of the shocking older citroens, both 09 and 59 plate mk7 fiesta's i had rattled but they were easy to track down and fix and the swift sport rattled but not as bad as this ds3. I can't afford to change to another new car for the next 3 to 4 years so i'm stuck with a citroen that rattles so i'll just have to turn the stereo up and worry about more important things lol

                                Bravo!! What he said!!

I had one customer go on and on about a rattle in his C4, after many visits back and forth I nailed the noise down to the large set of keyrings he had hanging off his car key.
