Mine has fewer squeaks & rattles at 17k miles than just about anything else I've owned, including sundry Audis, VWs & Volvos.
my previous car was a Mazda 6 and that car never rattled or squeaked once, the build quality inside was excellent, so going from that to a BRAND NEW CAR with it squeaking and groaning is a massive let down.

Got my car back yesterday regarding the noises etc and they find clips missing all over the place. Clips missing in the Glove Box, Drive side door panel, passenger side seat belt assembly, dash board and behind the speedo. Got in the car this morning and low and behold I now have a buzzing noise continuously coming from the vents. Push the vent in and it stops, let go and it starts all over again.

In many ways us lot who have these DS3’s are first generation customers so when the second gen comes out in a few years all our annoying problems will be taken care of, we are the guinea pigs I’m afraid

I Love Driving My 8 Month Old DS3 With 18,000 On The Clock Knowing That I Have None Of These Rattles / Noises !

The September / October Builds Must Have Been Gooooood... Especially When You Consider All The Things That Have Happened To My Poor Car... :L

Not Trying To Rub It In Or Anything... xD

My dash rattles also, the best cure I find, is to turn your radio up really loud! Don't notice the rattle then!

Get some sponge and shove it down the front between the LCD and the dash surround, stopped mine

Turning up the stereo half way works. But turning up properly makes the speakers rattle like fcuk.

Choose your poison. Rattling dash or rattling speakers lol.

My DS3R has 3 buzzes. The really annoying one was at the top back of the drivers door. I took it to the dealer and they had a go at that and hopefully it's fixed, as it's right by my ear. I also have the (obligatory?) buzz from the right of the centre dash air vents. That tends to start after I've been driving a little while. (I wonder if it related to the temperature the A/C is set at?) I mentioned that to the dealer but they said they don't like to pull the dash off as it can break so did nothing. There is also an occasional one I think in the passenger door, but it's pretty occasional and too far away for me to work out exactly where it is, so I'll live with it. (They other two I worked out exactly where to push to make them stop.)

BTW the dealer says buzzes/rattles aren't covered by the warranty and get billed to the sales people, so I guess it's down to the dealer what happens next.

Under the warranty terms noise such as these are not covered as they are considered operational noises from day to day use. If your dealer does indeed set about sorted any noises then the dealer covers the cost of the work, which does indeed normally invoiced to the Sales Department who would have the ultimate say whether or not to go ahead with the work.

My MR2 Roadster had a rattle from the glovebox area, turned out to be a loose cable to the airbag above the glovebox, it was quite a common fault, Toyota may have a reputation for build quality but they're not immune from rattles
