What this shows is different colour gators suit certain colour cars. I reckon the red ones would look good on the car above. They definetely protect the alloys my daughter hit a kerb yesterday (normal parking procedure) and there was just a slight grazing on the gator

                  No problem.

The company have a base in Barnsley where the gator is made but they don't have a fiiting service there. If you are unable to fit them yourself a local tyre depot would fit them for a negotiable fee.

I have just had the front gators removed by the company due to some seperation from the alloy, the rear ones are fine. The modified gator which will have an extra 4 grippers and a bigger grip joint will be fitted to my car in the next 3'4 weeks and this should solve the seperation issue. AlloyGator have recommended that DS3 owners who would like to fit them should wait for the results of the trial before purchasing any.

I had the same idea with the black bellones but was put off by the whole installation. They look really good altough they seem to poke out quiet a bit more than expected. Maybe the new ones will look different. Really makes the wheel stand out.

Putting them on is not too difficult and there is a video on the company website http://www.youtube.com/AlloyGator which is very helpfull. They do stick out a bit but that obviously helps protect the alloy and improves the look of the wheel.

I will have the new new design put on my car when they arrive in a few weeks and if they are successful they will start promoting them. Their are loads of colours it depends whether you want them to blend in with the alloy or stand out, if you put the black or silver on the black bellones they will hardly be noticeable. If you put red, yellow, green or blue ones on the black or white alloys they would really stand out.

As soon as i have tested the new gators i will put some feedback on to the forum.
