Well the mpg from new is 56.4 that doesn't seem to ever change. Everytime I get a good mpg i ruin it by having some fun.

If I do lorry speeds i'l get 75 but for long stints at 70 like yesterday I got 58. Went straight back down again driving to work. It's the excelleration that tends to ruin that, i have 3 motorway slip roads to deal with. The computer says 45 when using cruise at 70 on a coldish engine. When properly warm it's giving me readings of about 60. I'm only seriously gonna start measuring it once I've crossed 6k i reckon

Just over 1200 miles on the clock and trip 2 which hasn't been reset since I got the car is showing 34mpg, this is with the climate control on auto all the time, a mixture of town, motorway and back roads with the occasional traffic light sprint. My old C2 VTS without the aircon on most of the time would just about do 30mpg under the same driving conditions and no where near as much fun

When I press the button on the end of the wiper stalk it scrolls through instantaneous, trip 1 & trip 2. I reset trip 1 every time I fill up & have left trip 2 alone so it shows the overall figures since I picked her up.

On my current (for just one more day!) Seat Leon FR, trip 2 ultimately resets when you get to 100 hours driving - don't know if there is some parameter on the DS3 which causes it to reset but just wanted to mention in case people think there trip 2 is measuring indefinitely - if it's like my Leon then it won't 'forever'....will be interested to know myself in just over a day's time!

                    Regards,
                    Clive.

As I don't need to use her on a daily basis ( I walk to work ) I've only done 1200 miles in the 3 months I've had her. Assuming an average of 30mph, in 100 hours I will have covered 3000 miles, at my current rate of 400 miles a month it will take me another 5 months before I reach the 100 hours of driving so I won't find out if it resets itself anytime soon.

Looks like this only applies to the My Way setup or possibly the DSport. The standard Dstyle only has the 1 trip
