It is very subtle but definitely there. Now despite a comment elsewhere on keyboard warriors I did get all my money back on a car which had some rattles / noises, however this is very subtle but I want it corrected. I don't want people (Citroen) pulling off panels blindly, however, this is around ear level and has a 'vibration' sound rather than a rattle. I think it has got a little worse today. I have a friend who is in a choir (i.e.a very good 'ear') and I went and colllected him and he could hear it. He was 90% sure it was from the rear seat belt but we couldn't soften it or be certain it was there......
    Clive howdy,
I've had issues with this for yonks and my local branch haven't been able to track down the problem. I've had the 'info-rapid' for this as well but because they don't have it on their system, well basically, they don't believe it exists. Here's a copy of the translated one I done if that's any help to you. I've got a spare part for my car to get fitted and I'll be taking a copy of this with me for them to check out.

Good luck and let me know if you do get it resolved.

I too have a similar issue. Not really a rattling more a very subtle 'tinkling' sound coming from drivers right front. I'm started to think it is a rubbing of metal on the flywheel of the alternator drivebelt. I may take it back to the dealer.

Being a techy 'slight rattles' are our worst nightmare!!

As said, its very very hard to claim any time under warranty for these jobs, so very little time gets spent on them

Saying that though, now im at Audi, we insist the customer demos the noise - no demo, no noise!

This makes it abit better, because i know which noise im looking for, and not being led off on a wild goose chase!

If they wash and vacuum my car they'll pay for a full correction - circa £500! In terms of my time to a do a full correction that's small change. But I make sure any dealer knows this when I leave it with them!

The tinkling may be the same I've heard - I'm suspicious of the rear seat belt, it's likely to get looked at next week, but I'll be going out for a drive with the technician so we can both agree where it is coming from.

                  Regards,
                  Clive.

I am just finding the whole car has irritating rattling noises.. I can only put gloves in the glove compartment, because If I put sunglasses in there or anything like a cd its rattling beyond belief then you cant put anything in any of the compartments without any of it rattling.. then when you put the air con on its like the whole dashboard is clicking and splitting open..

I have realised that the ds3 is a non clutter car.. because if you go to put anything in any of the area's it will just make so much noise you have to remove it.

Thats good if you think about it, cos I dont wanna fill my car with clutter, so anything that stops me doing it, is a bonus

Most car shops sell little non-slip mats designed for the dash. I bought a couple and cut them up to size for all the cubby holes. Looks OK and stops things from sliding around and rattling.
