Dave- did you do the PCV delete when you had problems- or you just did it as preventative of problems?
IRIDIUM Plugs- wonder if theyd chuck em out on a service- surely couldnt affect warranty?
Is the fuel pump the circulating valve?
CHEERS in advance CBLUE
in response to the head and turbo- on the head they've probably hand built it by one the techs and lapped in the exhaust valves properly and for tailored turbo charger- much the same, probably put together under a finer eye making sure the tolerances are much much finer.
That's just my guess though.

I did the PCV delete as a preventative measure after I got my new engine at 10000 miles, on 29000 with no problems.
I took out the Iridium plugs before service, just in case!
The fuel pump is the high pressure fuel pump under the bonnet, my one was starting to fail and causing lumpy idle (along with a failing timing chain tensioner)

I think the engines are hand assembled at Citroen racing, so they could have hand finished ports etc. The turbo on the racing has a slightly more aggresive trim on the intake impellor, which moves the boost slightly higher up, but holds boost for slightly longer. I have the JCW turbo which is the same unit.
Will do, was going to come to the one today rain or shine!
Nice one- but your on the doorstep- £35 petrol from me so wanted to see some SUN
Was there any SUN?
