I notice your Dsport has Bridgestone Tyres where as mine has Michelin, Does anyone know why different tyres could have been fitted to mine? What is the standard Tyre?
Also, normally tyre pressures are listed in psi, will the guages at the garage have bar listed?
Cheers

The difference in the tyres is to do with the emission ratings, nothing more.
BAR is the metric system that is used in Europe and yes any air pump at a garage will have both listed....I should never have doubted the Lord of Bacon!!

I would NEVER rely on a pressure gauge on a forecourt to be accurate.....Buy your own one and check them before moving the car while they are cold.
Best advice is check what the label on your own car says (it will be in Bar) then use an online converter to get the PSI equivalent and use a permanent marker pen to write the PSI on the label as well.
The standard tyre is what Citroen decide to fit when making the car...it does seem that they are moving back toward Michelin though.

First time since I have had the car.
So why are mine 40psi? This is whilst the tyres are cold.
1. The gauge you used to check them is inaccurate.
Or
2. They were incorrectly inflated / not checked properly during the PDI.
How many months have you had the car now AJ & you've only just checked the tyre pressures :eek:DS3 Racing, also available in White!!!
