Hmmm, there's always that remote possibility if you bend over to take a look I suppose, but you should have a sticker like the one below, although perhaps not showing 2.4 bar pressures in your case

Bog standard 2010 DSport THP150, 1973 Clan Crusader, 2003 Harley Davidson Softail, 2007 Vespa 250GTS, 2011 Peugeot Boxer campervan ,a few push bikes, and one eMTB

Yes it's there, thanks. Maybe because the driver side is on the left in France?

I notice your Dsport has Bridgestone Tyres where as mine has Michelin, Does anyone know why different tyres could have been fitted to mine? What is the standard Tyre?

Also, normally tyre pressures are listed in psi, will the guages at the garage have bar listed?

            Cheers

The difference in the tyres is to do with the emission ratings, nothing more.

BAR is the metric system that is used in Europe and yes any air pump at a garage will have both listed.

I would NEVER rely on a pressure gauge on a forecourt to be accurate.....Buy your own one and check them before moving the car while they are cold.

Best advice is check what the label on your own car says (it will be in Bar) then use an online converter to get the PSI equivalent and use a permanent marker pen to write the PSI on the label as well.

The standard tyre is what Citroen decide to fit when making the car...it does seem that they are moving back toward Michelin though.

Just checked the tyre pressures and according to the label on the front passenger door pillar it should be 2.4bar which is 35psi allround.

First time since I have had the car.

So why are mine 40psi? This is whilst the tyres are cold.

                      Two possible answers:

                      1. The gauge you used to check them is inaccurate.

                      Or

                      2. They were incorrectly inflated / not checked properly during the PDI.

How many months have you had the car now AJ & you've only just checked the tyre pressures

Temp also has an effect typically tire pressure will change about 1 psi for every 5 degrees C

Definitely over inflated, all correct now. Been in the garage most of the weekend so tyres are cool.
