It's all brought about by the boys and girls on this forum who seemingly spend most of their free time lovingly tending their motors and spending small fortunes on exotically named potions such as Collimite 1976 or Clay or whatever.
take it to a drive in valet might cost ya a bit but then ya just av to sit in the car and do nowt failing that get 1 of ya neighbours kids to do it for a fiver lol while you supervise. i got ocd when it come to washing plus i like the excersize doing it plus me mrs recons i need a to shed a few pound lol
I don't mind the exercise when I'm washing a car, it's just that I always get soaking wet. I feel like washing it in my boxers!

That's what I was thinking of doing; because like Deesse trois I don't want to clean my car all the time (although you'll be happy to hear I've done it once in the month I've had it!) - Sorry Clive.
But I remember from another thread that people said you can't even trust 'valet' or car cleaning places because what if they don't use new/rinsed sponges and put someone else's grit on your paintwork? Does anyone else have experience with valet cleaning, can you trust them to do it properly (i.e. not damage the paint)?
