Well I knew my luck was too good to be true... I leave the airforce and put all my savings into my dream car as my start in a new job in civvie street and some ***hole foreign driver not paying attention rear ends the car. My partner was driving at the time and crawling in traffic when she whacked from behind and it pushed her into the car in front.
Basically it needs a complete new front end as the grill is smashed and is scratched and loose and the rear end is the same with a destroyed parking sensor bit and the exhaust is hanging about 3 inches lower and looks like it was shunted because the heat shielding underneath looks all warped.
The car is driveable it seems.
Basically my worry is getting the car into a "as new condition". After all the car is 10 days old and a factory order. I am worried and looking for advice on several factors.. 1) As new bumpers, front and back, are only primed, what if the colour match is off on my sport red?
2)What if the repair shop don't have the experience of doing DS3 repairs like this as it is a fairly new car. I don't want a bodge job.
3)I guess iam concerned I will have that niggle that the car has been repaired and not like a factory fit. As a techie myself, albeit aircraft, I know the difference between a repair and a brand new and that really annoys me!!
Excuse my frantic stress but I am sure you can syampathise.
