  • Fitting of Wind deflectors.

Can anyone tell me, when you fit the wind deflectors to the drivers and passangers windows. Do the wind deflectors fit in the groove were the window runs ,so as to fit against the window or do they fit inbetween the seal and the door edge, so the seal is inbetween the wind defector and the window. I have looked at the fitting instructor and they are about hepful as a fart in a very small room. I dont know about everyone else but so far all the parts I have bought from Citroen have useless instructions and I have been more confused after reading them ,than before I started. Thanks in advance for any help. This is another job for tomorrow.

^ as said above. infront of the window. So when you make the windows close the wind deflectors will be on the outside.

Anyone any decent pictures of how these look from different angles? I quite fancy fitting a set to reduce road noise but the other half is not so keen.

If I can fit them, anyone can, please don't do as my friend did and pay someone £20 to do it....

Pop corner one in, ease in corner two, then bend in slightly to slide three in:

Mine are Citroen ones. Some come with clips, but They aren't needed imo. The natural resistance from the bend keeps them in place.

                      Why thank you!
Just from the tips and products given from the people who don't need to be named

They are easily enough fitted. Mine just said they needed the window done up over night to set them in place.

easy fix, keep windows up and turn the aircon on =]

I've always had these but never had the helicopter issue, but then again if I ever reach 50mph the windows go up.

The one slight blip on my DS3 is slight wind noise at motorway speeds from the window area and was thinking of fitting the deflectors.

Do the deflectors help with the wind noise around the windows?
makes more noise as it is less aerodynamic, but stops the wind just blowing straight in.

Also they rattle if you have your windows half down and drive around Bolton =]
